Why Do You Need Exams?

To be eligible for the CSC (Chinese Scholarship Council) or OBOR (One Belt, One Road) scholarship, or some of Univeristies and Province scholarhsip, applicants must hold certain diplomas: an English proficiency diploma for English-taught programs or an HSK diploma for Chinese-taught programs. However, for English-taught programs, applicants who have previously pursued an English curriculum may be exempted from the English proficiency exam, recognizing their prior experience in an English-language academic environment. It’s essential for prospective applicants to carefully review the specific scholarship requirements and guidelines to ensure they meet the necessary criteria for their chosen program of study.

ISSP Global Exam

The ISSP Global Examination can help candidates who want to study in China. To obtain scholarships, students need to take and pass the exam in English language proficiency, except for those who have followed an English curriculum.The candidate has the flexibility to take the examination at any location and time, provided they have access to a computer and an internet connection.

Tofel-IELTS-Duolingo

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language), IELTS (International English Language Testing System), and the Duolingo English Test are standardized English language proficiency examinations designed to evaluate the English communication skills of non-native speakers. These tests assess candidates’ abilities in listening, reading, writing, and speaking English across academic and real-world contexts.

HSK Exam (汉办)

The HSK exam, also known as the Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi, is a standardized Chinese language proficiency test. It is designed to assess and certify the Chinese language proficiency of non-native speakers, including their listening, reading, and writing skills. The candidate has the option to take the examination at dedicated examination centers.
